“I am only predicting because you are asking, but we would probably expand on family — the addition to families,” Veasey says. “Like Jo [Sela Ward] has a daughter who is dating and her older son may be getting married. Mac is expanding his family. Danny [Carmine Giovinazzo] and Lindsay [Anna Belknap]– at the end of the season, Lindsay is pregnant. So it would be about the expansion of family. We would still do riveting, compelling crime stories, but I think the audience loves the characters so much that they would allow us to let their personal lives complicate the process of doing their jobs.”

In other words I wrote exactly what they would have liked to do! Why am I scared of this?
