CSI New York Episode XIII Season 10
EPISODE
XIII: OLD YOUTH OF AMERICA
Mac was in
his office, the clock showed 9:00 am, the slate of glass was covered with a
white sheet and, before him, his entire team was gathered
"You
have been called here today because this case requires your full attention
tonight! It is a matter of utmost importance and marks a turning point" everyone
looked at him raise the white paper "The counter-attack!" and he
pointed to on the blackboard the football field drawn in detail "Only then
we can beat the Department of the brigade fire!" he looked into the eyes
of team members "If we don’t win the match I’ll halve to you the salaries!
Is that clear?" the team nodded
"So,
the new regulation provides for mixed teams. Sheldon to center field, Jaime on
the right wing and Angela on the left. Flack you remain as the only central
striker, since I don’t play, please score!" he turned to Danny "If
you play with glasses bind them to you! Do not be like in 2004, you went to
parry in the locker room!" he turned to the six Flack’s policemen "You
others, do wall in defense!" he scanned the faces of colleagues and smiled
"Are you all ready?"
"Yes!"
was the unanimous cry that lift up in the office.
Mac began
to beat his hands on the table and everyone followed him beating up the heel of
the right shoe on the ground.
In the
evening, Mac was sitting on the sidelines to give advice "Pass it to
Flack! Jaime pass it to Flack!" and the ball was stolen by one of the
firefighters who managed to tally all the opponents, dangerously approaching
the goal of the NYPD and then to shoot. Danny threw himself into the air and
managed to save it.
"Well
done Danny!" Lindsay yelled from the stands standing and next to her
Christine and Jo rejoiced clapping.
The match
continued with a one to zero of the NYPD, thanks to a great goal by Flack, which
unfortunately became, in the first part of the second half, a one to one and
fifteen minutes from the end a one to two for the Fire Department of New York.
Mac had
already put his hands in her hair. A few minutes from the end, Flack was landed
and the referee announced the penalty for the NYPD.
Mac
straightened up "Let’s drew and then let’s knackered them on penalties!"
Sheldon was
chosen to take the penalty and approached Flack with a smile "Now I make
the Panenka kick!"
"No
Hawkes! Please!" Flack begged him to no avail and then turned back to Mac
who made a gesture with his hand to ask for an explanation of what was
happening. Flack spread his arms and pointed with concern to Sheldon who was
placing the ball on the penalty spot.
Mac looked
the other way, to not see, and closed his eyes while behind him Sheldon shot
into the goal.
The
goalkeeper of the firefighters took the ball on the fly.
"No!"
was the cry that went up from the tribune of the NYPD, Mac put his both hands
on his face and began to shake his head.
Two whistle
of the arbitrator announced the end of the match.
Flack came
to Sheldon with outstretched hands to his neck, but he withdrew them
immediately.
The new
head of the fire brigade came to Mac and smiled "Even this year, the
victory is ours! It will get better next year for you!"
Mac walked
into the locker room with a dark expression "Congratulations! Do you know
how long is that we do not win a football match? Fourteen years! I won by chance a game
of Baseball in 1998 and one American Football in 2000! This summer, no excuses!
Who does not work trains!"
Sinclair
came clapping "Congratulations! Because of you, the heads of Bureau want
me to pay for dinner! By the way! There is a murder waiting to be solved!
Lieutenant, I wish you the best in the job!"
Jo and Mac
looked at the victim and found hard to believe their eyes
"They
killed Spider-Man?" Jo said looking at Mac putting on his gloves and
switch the flashlight on for bending over the corpse "C’mon that we’ll
beat them next year for sure!"
"Actually,
I was not thinking already more to the match!" Mac said taking samples of
blood around the victim with a swab "Thanks for reminding me that we lost
through the fault of Sheldon!"
"Mac!
It's a friendly match!" Jo said trying other tracks "It seems that he
has been dropped from the Empire!"
"It
remains to determine from what height!" Mac said standing up and looking
upward "Have we got witnesses?"
"Flack
and Jaime are already querying them! Later we will know something!" Jo
said "What are you thinking Mac?"
"That
we're dealing with something more than a simple murder!" he said observing
a man by the icy stare with a long jacket, brown hair perfectly combed back and
mentioned white beard on his face coming toward them.
Jo studied
him from afar "He does not look American!"
As soon as
the man approached, smiled at the two and pulled out its distinctive
"I am
the Commissioner Marc Andrea Mancini, Italian police! That boy is the reason
why I'm here!" he said pointing at him.
Mac began
to look at him "How are you connected to the boy?"
"I'm
investigating his father! He is a well-known gangster of these parts: Roger
Parker! He makes back and forth Milan to New York one week yes and two no!"
Mac peered
at him "Why are you here?"
"Because
he skipped a week! I was curious to see if he had business going on here and so
I asked a lot of permits to investigate!"
Jo nodded
"At this point it is better if we introduce ourselves! Detective Josephine
Danville!" she said holding out her hand
"Lieutenant
Mac Taylor!" the colleague mimicked her
"I
hope that our cooperation will be very good!" the Commissioner smiled.
Jo received
an SMS on her mobile "They found a seven year old girl and an adult died
on the George Washington Bridge! Do you excuse me?"
"Take
it easy, Jo! I will think about this case with the Italian colleague!"
Danny
passed under the yellow tape that delimited on the highway the crime scene. He
took a couple of pictures to blood stains and Lindsay, who followed him,
stooped to pick up the samples.
Danny went
on and saw Jo bent over the girl's body with Isabella and Sheldon on the man
"Beautiful
night to investigate a case!"
"You
have been assigned to this case, Danny?" Sheldon asked
"Yes!
Why? "
"Because
Mac is struggling with an Italian colleague and maybe it suits him someone who
speaks the language a bit..." Jo answered
Danny
smiled "Even Mac has very far Italian origins from his mother's side! If
you want I'll tell you how I found it out!"
Jo stood up
"Can we talk later of the various generational DNA and focus us on those
of the victims now?"
"The
cause of death is clear! I do not need to do an autopsy to tell you how they
died! I just need to extract the bullets!" Isabella snorted
"About
the streaks of tires instead? What do we know?" Lindsay asked approaching
the team indicating them
"Nothing!"
Jo said "I would say to go back to the lab and start with those!"
"That's
great! I take care of the bullets!" Sheldon smiled
"I'll
take the comparison of bullets! The ones of ballistics will be pleased to hear
shoot at midnight!" Danny smiled
"My
job will be to identify victims and to analyze DNA samples!" Lindsay
smiled.
Jo smiled
and took off the gloves "We are just an excellent team!"
Mac opened
the door, making as little noise as possible, and accommodated the visitor
"Please,
I believe that my children just fell asleep!"
"I
have three little kids! I understand the situation!" the Commissioner
Mancini said stepping and looking at the lights on in the room "But I
reckon that you're wrong about the fact that they are sleeping!"
Mac stepped
forward and saw Christine sitting on the couch with McKenna in her arms.
He smiled
and knelt beside her "What takes him at this hour?"
"Sleeplessness
Mac! I have to change him as well!"
"I'll
do it!" he smiled
"Please!
Don’t wake Faith!" Christine begged him to then turn her attention to the
host "Good evening!"
"Good
evening!" the Commissioner Mancini greeted her with kindness
"Apparently, Lieutenant Taylor is a responsible parent! I've never had the
courage to change one of my children!"
"When
he works, he sees worst things!" Christine smiled standing up "My
name is Christine!"
"Commissioner
Marc Andrea Mancini!" he said clutching the hand of Christine
"I had
guessed from the pronunciation that you weren’t American!"
"I'm from
Milan! Well, actually I was born in Rome!" he smiled telling "Milan
has become my home when I was transferred for work! I deal with Organized
Crime!"
Mac
returned without the baby "He fell asleep!"
"Little
kids, little problems! The fact that when they grow up, even though the
problems grow mustn’t scare you!" the Commissioner smiled "We end up
discussing Peter Parker and then we go to sleep!"
"Besides
the fact that his father was connected with an Italian mafia family, is there
anything else?" Mac asked
"If
you mean with -anything else- trafficking heroin and cocaine in Columbia
University, yes! There's something else!" the Commissioner said sitting
down "Peter Parker peddled on behalf of his father!"
"They
are American illegal activities, why Italy it is involved in them?"
"The
merchandise comes from Italy!" Mancini explained "I made the charge
of the sale to arrest, but he was a small fish and he has been released because
the offense has fallen into the prescription!"
"So
now...”
"Now,
our friend came to America to look for Roger Parker to have a -compensation for
damages-, but he has found Peter... I know for sure that it was him to drop the
guy from the Empire State Building!"
Peyton
looked at the boy lying on his table and sighed, beginning to take off the
Spider-Man costume. She watched every detail of the skin with the torch, she
noticed a hematoma behind the neck and took photos.
Few moments
later Mac and the Commissioner Mancini entered
"Good
morning, Mac! I didn’t expect to see you arrive with someone!" she greeted
him
"Peyton,
this is one of our Italian colleague! He works with us at the case!"
"Commissioner
Marc Andrea Mancini!"
"Pleased
to make your acquaintance!" Peyton smiled "Your victim is not dead
after the fall! Someone had hit him in the neck before with a heavy object that
has left a precise form: a straight line! The neck was broken before touching
the ground! The nose, teeth, arms and legs have been fractured and broken after
death!" she said showing the marks on the body "What is striking
about it is the white powdery substance that I found inside the collar of the
costume: chalk!"
"The
pedestal of a chalk statue is the murder weapon?" the Commissioner Mancini
said shocked
"Excellent
deduction! I'm surprised you haven’t had it Mac!"
"It's
called -courtesy to the host-! You know me by quite a bit time Peyton!"
Mac smiled "We have why, we have how and when ... what and the subject are
lacking!"
"So
much, I already know that with the latest information that will give you have
already the primal scene!" Peyton smiled "Given the damage, the
height from which Spider-Man is fallen is 373.5 meters! I simplify down your
life by telling you that it is around the hundredth floor!"
"Thanks
for the help Peyton!"
"Don’t
mention it Mac!" Peyton smiled "You’ll receive soon even tox!
Goodbye, Commissioner!"
Flack was
already there at the door ready to stop Mac and the Italian colleague
"Who
gave a party last night at the Empire State Building?"
"Enlighten
me!" Mac said walking with the Commissioner Mancini at his side.
Flack did
not ask for any better "The Greater New York Councils!"
"The
plan where Parker was killed is too high! He could not be there for the event!"
"Instead,
he was there for that reason! All participants were at the party dressed as
superheroes, rigorously Marvel ones!" Flack explained " However, none
of them saw nothing!" he said taking a different direction
"Don’t
you come upstairs?"
"I
have to reach Jaime and give her a bad news on the case she's working with Jo!
If there are any updates contact me!"
Jo looked
Angela at the computer "So? Did you manage that?"
"Yes!
I calculated all the possible combinations, but I don’t know what they could
have done since yesterday evening to today! They could have disposed of the car
and have taken another!"
Jo walked
back and forth to the lab "If only they weren’t fugitives! What came to
mind to those of the prison to transfer them both!"
"When
we discovered the two bodies on the bridge, I wasn’t thinking we would have had
to deal with a so long trail of blood!"
Lindsay
came into the lab with Danny "Flack told us that he had communicated to
Jaime that we are dealing with two prisoners on the run!"
"That's
right and we just found the bodies of two police officers who were in the car
with them and other four of the police cruiser escort" Jo explained
"Which
car are we looking for?" Danny asked
"Bmw
X6!" Jo said "As soon as someone will let us know something, we will
follow the track!"
"The
guns used to kill Larry Porter and his daughter belong to the dead policemen!"
Danny said
"The
DNA samples belong only to the victims!" Lindsay said
"We
know their names. The brothers Servillo without documents cannot go anywhere! I
hope them to commit the mistake of being located!" Angela said looking at
the computer "A stolen credit card was just used to the border with New
Jersey in a clothing store for men! I’ll connect me security camera!" and
on the screen appeared the two men wanted
"We're
lucky!" Jo smiled
"I
take the car!" Danny hastened to say "Lindsay go by helicopter with
Jo!"
"Warn
Flack!" Lindsay yelled "Don’t go alone!"
"I
have already sent the alert! Be quick!" Angela said.
Mac and the
Commissioner Mancini reached the lab and watched Angela give instructions to
the microphone "Jo! They informed me that they had in those parts their
lair! Beware! They might have weapons!"
"What's
going on?" the Commissioner Mancini churches
"We'll
find out soon!" Mac said.
Angela
continued to look at the computer "Danny be careful! They have a bazooka!
Get out of there!"
The car
swerved as soon as the missile was launched and behind it, after the explosion,
the flames rose higher.
Danny
leaned out the window and took aim at the wheels of the car and managed to hit
the right one.
The car
ended off the road with two criminals and the police could surround it. The
brothers Servillo went out raising their hands and they were handcuffed.
Angela from
the lab looked at the scene and smiled "Well done guys!"
Mac clapped
his hands observing the work of his team "Angela! When Danny comes back,
send him to my office! "
"It
will be done great chief!" Angela smiled.
Mac took
by the Commissioner Mancini “Do you know how to carry out the investigations of
the Crime Lab?"
"Actually,
no! I have a degree in biology, but I never analyzed anything in my entire
career! You can be a Commissioner or a Scientist!"
"Let's
get the lab coats and analyze the victim's clothes!" Mac smiled throwing
one of them to the Commissioner
"With
great pleasure! I hope I still remember how to do it!"
The two
went into the lab and scattered on the table the victim's clothes.
Mac took
the biggest part of the costume, while the commissioner touched gloves, shoes
and mask.
Both found
tracks and began to insert them into the spectroscope. When the printer printed
out the results of Mac, there appeared a spectrum analyzed by the Commissioner
on the screen
"Did
you find anything?" Mac asked approaching with his result
"The
chalk dust and the resin of a plant on the right glove ... I still have not
figured out what species it belongs to..."
Mac smiled
"Do the work program in your place!" he said pressing the keyboard
"Technology
is a beautiful thing!" the Commissioner Mancini commented looking up the
result "Oleander!" he paused thoughtfully "It makes no
sense!"
"Why?"
Mac asked
"Roger
Parker has oleanders on the terrace of his villa! Charles Salieri, the man who
had been arrested, has never been to the home of Parker! I was wrong to think
in advance that it was he who had committed the murder! We absolutely have to
analyze the scene of the crime!"
"Then
let's find out the truth!"
Jo stepped
pleased in the lab
"Hey
Jo!" Sheldon stopped her in the hallway "Why didn’t you notified me that
you were going to chase the two culprits?"
"Because
I was forced to act in a hurry and I'd like you to note that I was
careful!"
"We're
still not a hundred percent sure that you are pregnant and you already want to
get into trouble, risking losing the baby?" he asked following her into
the hallway.
Jo turned
to him and smiled "You don’t have to worry about anything!" and she
closed the door of her office.
Danny and
Lindsay appeared from around the corner with an amused smile
"She
shut you out, huh?" He smiled squeezing his wife "We're going home to
our children, since there is no Mac. If he were to come back, tell him to call
me!"
"Do
not worry for Jo, Sheldon! She can take care of herself!" Lindsay smiled
friendly.
Mac looked
out the window of the Empire State Building
"I'm
sure that here is our crime scene!"
The
Commissioner Mancini saw a piece of chalk with his flashlight and hurried to
take it with pliers "Something tells me you're not wrong!"
Mac passed
black powder, with a brush, on the window sill
"Two
sets of fingerprints: one corresponds to the gloves, while the other is new!"
he withdrew the fingerprints and began to be envelop the various evidences
"This place is really too much in order!"
"Lieutenant,
we do not have witnesses! If we want to arrest the culprit, we must dedicate
ourselves to this place!"
"This
place has nothing more to offer us!" Mac said "We have to work with
what we have!" he said taking a fiber entangled in the handle of the
window "This is the last thing that remains to us!"
Leaving the
Empire, Mac and the Commissioner looked around
"I
thought the car was here!" the Commissioner Mancini exclaimed shocked
"It
was here!" Mac said walking toward a homeless man sitting on a bench
"And
now what he wants to do?" the Commissioner asked to himself.
Mac walked
over to the homeless
"Hey!
The car that was parked there, do you know what happened to it?"
"They
took it, two with a tow truck! If you're lucky it can be found at the store!"
the man replied
"This
thing in Italy would never have happened!" the Commissioner Mancini smiled
"Here
we are in America! I’ll got told off for it from my boss... let's take the
subway! At 5885 Broadway, Manhattan, we will not get there on foot!"
Flack and
Jaime looked at Mac advance alone in their direction
"Hello,
Mac!" Flack greeted him "You look like someone who needs a
favor!"
"It is
so!" Mac admitted "They took me the car! Could you retrieve it at my
place, before Sinclair will make it a disciplinary case?"
"Your
ability to combine messes grows in proportion to your uphill of degree,
Mac!" Jaime joked "Flack has offered to help you and your Italian
colleague, as soon as he's done in the lab! I'll go!"
"Thank
you so much Jaime!"
"Don’t
say it! You owe me a beer and a pizza!"
Mac came
out and started walking towards the lab with Flack.
The
Commissioner Mancini had just done to analyze the traces that were found
"Lieutenant,
do you want the good news first or the bad news?"
"That
good!"
"Peter
Parker was not wearing gloves when he was killed! The fingerprints on the
window sill belonged to him! The bad news is that we know who was wearing the
Spider-Man gloves, but we cannot arrest him for the murder!"
"Start
by giving me a name!" Mac became serious
"Tony
Costantino!" he said passing him a picture "He is an Italian-American
with connections to both the Parkers and with the family which I am
investigating!"
Mac nodded
"I don’t see where the problem is then! We have evidences, we have the
culprit and Costantino will clarify to us the motive!"
"You
cannot understand! That one is completely out of mind! He is one of the biggest
drug dealers in the U.S. and Europe! If we arrest him now, I cannot complete
the capture of the whole gang in Italy and Roger Parker would do away with it!"
Mac strove
to understand "Mancini, it is against my principles to leave a criminal at
large! I absolutely cannot do that!"
"Taylor,
they are five years that this case haunts me! Five years that I wait a breakthrough
and now I'm there next!"
Mac shook
his head "No! You’ll think up another way! I cannot afford to endanger
other lives!" he said pressing a button on the phone" You were so
distracted to not notice that I had already called my colleagues! They're going
to pick up Costantino now!"
The
Commissioner Mancini drew his gun
"Recall
them immediately!" he said pointing it against him.
Some of the
lab technicians had already made safe under tables and others were running in
the hallway.
Mac stood
motionless, almost amused by the scene, with the gun on his forehead
"You won’t
do it! We both know it a very well!"
"We
want to bet?" he said lowering the trigger
"Commissioner,
you are in a den of wolves!" he said looking out and seeing Jo and Danny
rush "I assure you that you have unknowingly three guns aimed against! Two
are behind the glass, not yet ready to shoot, and you've got one stake in a
place that I cannot name, in respect of my colleagues, since you have drowned
your own! What do you want to do?"
The
Commissioner Mancini lowered the gun and sighed "All right! We will do as
you wish!"
"And
no one will know this story!" Mac smiled showing his gun before put it
back on the waist
"Now,
if you want to come to the district to interrogate the suspect..."
"Of
course!"
Flack was
stationed outside the villa with his police cruiser and Jaime was coming to him
with the suspect
"I was
going to come looking for you! You had me worried!"
"Don!
I'm still able to take care of myself!" Jaime said putting the suspect in
the car who did not speak and looked askance at all the cops present.
The
Commissioner Mancini and Mac were ready to interrogate the suspect.
Mac
advanced solid steps toward the door of the district and greeted with a wave of
his hand Flack
"Hello
Mac!" he replied "Jaime is waiting for you!"
"Thank
you, Don!" he said pursuing looking back to see if Commissioner Mancini
was following him or if he was left behind.
The
Commissioner Mancini had a dark look and followed Mac with a resolution between
the various desks
"Do we
want to query this scoundrel?"
Mac nodded
and showed him in the interrogation room.
The suspect
stood up and looked at the two policemen
"I did
not know that now my countrymen were working for the Americans!"
"And I
did not know that in the mafia entered so high stacks of shit!" the
Commissioner Mancini smiled
"Be
careful how you talk, Commissioner! I could make your tones present to the
judge! We already know how it will end: I’ll go out of here smiling and I'll go
back to my good life, you'll come back in Italy as mad as hell without having
achieved nothing! The umpteenth failure of the Commissioner Marc Andrea
Mancini!"
Mac looked
at Mancini to clench the fists and his knuckles becoming white and he
intervened
"You're
not here as a gangster, but as a murder suspect!"
"Ah! I
read a lot of articles about you! How's your name... Oh yes! Now I remember
Detective Mac Taylor!"
"Now,
actually, I became Lieutenant! Among the articles you read about me the one of this
morning goes missing!" Mac smiled mockingly "I begin with the
questions!"
"Please,
Lieutenant!" Mancini smiled
"Let's
start with something easy: are you Tonino Costantino, known as –Tony-?"
Mac said sitting down in front of the suspect while Mancini leaned against the
wall
"Yes I
am!"
"Do
you know who is this guy?" he asked showing a picture of the young Peter
Parker
"Why
should I know him?"
"In
this way we do not go well! You have to be honest with us, if you really want
to get out!"
"You
think I was born yesterday?! I avail myself of the right to remain silent
Lieutenant!"
"Well,
then I'll indict you for murder!" Mac concluded "You'll spend your
whole life in prison! If you talk now, instead... the prosecutor may be less
cruel!"
"And
you?"
"I won’t
change my behavior! You have broken a life that could still redeem himself!
Realize this!"
"I didn’t
do anything! With the young Parker we were joking! There were Ciccio D'Ambrosio
and I when I given back the gloves to Peter! II left, alone!"
"And
this Ciccio D'Ambrosio?"
"He
has reached me shortly after outside the Empire! He is one new at Parker’s home!
Those draw at home only reliable people and he was also quite related to the
lad!"
Mancini
then stepped forward "We will keep you an eye on!"
"Go
ahead with comfy!" he smiled.
Lindsay
joined Mac in his office
"I got
what you asked for: Francesco –Ciccio- D'Ambrosio. Drug dealer, receiver of
stolen goods and a couple of reports for assault!"
Mac and
Mancini smiled
"Do
you even know where he is?" Mac asked
"Could
I ever leave things halfway?"
Mac knew
the answer.
The
Commissioner Mancini and Mac were out again in search of the real culprit. They
were joined by Flack, Jaime and Danny.
They
entered, without too much difficulty, in the apartment of Ciccio D'Ambrosio and
found him lying in a pool of blood
"Too
late!" the Commissar Mancini spat
"Yes!"
Mac said looking at a chalk cherub in blood-stained on the pedestal and next to
it a card bearing the message: -Justice Has Been done!- "I just hope to not arrive late next
time!"
"Something
tells me that there will be a next time only for me!" Mancini spat
"No!
This case is a murder! We are in too!" Danny smiled
"Let's
back to Costantino?" Jaime suggested.
The home of
Tony Costantino was reached quickly and the team was ready to enter the
apartment.
Much to
their surprise, the same Tony Constantine was to open "What brings you
here?"
At the
police station Costantino was again questioned
"Dead?!"
"Yes,
Costantino! Ciccio D'Ambrosio is dead!" Mac said approaching with
threatening step
"I'm
glad he's not finished behind bars! Have you found something?"
"A
note! We checked your calligraphy and it doesn’t match! There aren’t your fingerprints
on the murder weapon!" Flack admitted
"So
what am I doing here?"
"We offer
you a deal!" Mac said with a friendly way, but at the same time determined
and hard "You’ll help us to find Parker and indict him for the murder of
D'Ambrosio and you’ll have a reduced sentence!"
"Lieutenant,
do you think I am stupid enough to believe you?"
"Don’t
you accept the deal? Guess what just arrived from Italy to me and what I’m
about to do!" he said putting his hand on his cell phone
"What
did you find out about me?"
"Receiving
stolen goods... drugs... well, a bit of things! You will be on trial for your
crimes here and then you will be extradited to Italy!"
"How
scary! I do not care about the Italian justice! I'll be out before they can do
whatever thing against me!"
"Of
the American one instead?"
"You
based on things that have come to you from Italy! Your government won’t trust on
them! Believe me, I know how these things work!"
Mac smiled
"You don’t calculate the unexpected!" he said showing him the phone
"I just recorded it all!"
"Even
this recording is all a supposition! There is nothing concrete!"
Mac smiled
"A couple of statements are true!"
Mancini
came in with a dossier "Doesn’t he speak? Now we do him sing! You'll end
up in for murder! I just found something on the clothing of Peter Parker!"
he took a cigarette butt "It was inside a shoe, there's your DNA and I
know how it finished there! We have a bit of evidences!" he walked towards
him "You have given a hand to Ciccio to get rid of the body and since now
he is dead, you end up in for twenty years!"
"Weah!
Stay calm and listen carefully! The one, the lad, has caused fucking problems
even to his father! I didn’t want to do anything just to scare him! That's what
I did! I reminded him that the head is only one: his father!"
"That's
why you made dangle him from the window of the Empire?" Mancini churches
"And
what would otherwise?" Mac and Mancini looked at each other and laughed
"In order to what are you laughing at?"
"For
the absurdity of your story!" the Commissioner Mancini smiled
"I
have all the time you want and as long as you don’t talk, I'll stay waiting
here!" Mac said "Commissioner Mancini, would you get me some
coffee?"
"How
do you take it, Lieutenant?"
"Black
with two lumps!"
"Anything
to eat?" he churches before leaving "I saw an Italian pastry shop
near here, I would going to pick me something!"
"Then
I let you choose!" Mac smiled looking at the Commissioner Mancini on the
door.
Jo looked
at the cases of Mac and started to put her hand to the one on top: -Romilda
Bowns-.
A phone
call stopped her and answered worried
"What’s
up, Christine?"
"Mac
has the phone off! I wanted to remind him that it was his turn to look after
the children! He had promised it to me! My mother is in the hospital and I wanted
to go and see how she was!"
"I
will come to take care of children! I solved the case, it was not so
complicated!"
"It's
already Sunday! The last time I saw him was Thursday night!"
"Do
not worry! His case with Mancini is..." she paused to find the right word "Obscure!
They were going to shoot each other here in the office!"
"When
did it happen?" Christine asked in anxiety
"Yesterday!
Mancini has pulled out his gun and started to play the fool! Mac had to calm
him down!"
Mac came
out with a smile on his face from the interrogation room at the side of Mancini
"Who
would have thought that was enough to eat and drink in front of him for two
hours?"
"But
now I have a stomach ache!" Mancini complained
"Even
I'm not in great shape! I think I will send to Parker’s address Danny and
Flack!"
Flack appeared
from behind "I could not do without listen!" he smiled "How many
cannoli have you eaten?"
"Better
not tell you! The important thing is that Constantine has spoken!"
"Have
you advanced someone for Jo?"
"Why?"
Mac asked
"She's
looking at your kids! Christine is in the hospital with your mother-in-law!"
"So,
do you excuse me? I want to make sure it's nothing serious!" Mac asked
worriedly
"I take
care of Parker with Detective Flack and Detective Messer!" the
Commissioner Mancini smiled to reassure him.
Within a
short time, Mac reached the hospital and the room in which Christine flanked
her mother in the bed and hugged her father
"Hello
Christine! Good evening, sir!"
"May I
know where you've been? You had to go home to the children!" Christine was
crying
"Let's
talk later!" Mac said sitting down next to her and the father of Christine
"I am very sorry!"
"Thank
you for being here!" Christine said taking his hand
"Thank
you so much!" the father of Christine said patting him on the shoulder
"She admired you! When he learned that Christine was going to marry you
said: -Our daughter has made the right choice!-. When you have been charged
during the affair of Beirut and I have spoken bad about you, she told me: -It's
not by Mac!- She was never wrong!"
"I
only regret not having been able to do anything for her!" Mac shrugged and
squeezed his hand with Christine "How did it happen?"
"A
heart attack! So at least the doctors say!" Christine’s father replied.
Falck,
Danny, Jaime and Commissioner Mancini were in the middle of a firefight
"Holy
shit!" Danny yelled taking refuge behind one of the parked cars in the
garden "Flack, I have them all around! I'm in very deep shit! Call your
men!" he shouted into the transceiver
"Danny!
The guys are the last card to play! Hang in there!"
"Fuck
you! Do you want to find me drilled by the bullets of these assholes?!"
"And
if Parker flees by one of the sides that I decide to leave out?! I do not take
the responsibility for a wrong choice!"
"We
will say that it was my fault! Do as I tell!"
In a short
time a group of policemen entered the main gate and Flack made his way among
the men of Parker's becoming more and more close to the entrance of the villa.
Jaime followed him and went to the door first.
The house
was semi-deserted and break down the few men in it was almost a game until
Flack felt the barrel of a gun on his neck
"Stop
where you are! One move and you're dead!" Jaime raised the gun at the man "Sweetness,
low it! Don’t you want anyone to get hurt?" Jaime followed the
instructions of man "No policeman had ever entered my house in this
manner! I have to compliment you!" the man continued "Throw down the
guns!"
"Throw
you your own Parker!" the Commissioner Mancini yelled appearing from a
broken window with other cops and Danny "It's over!"
Mac
returned to the office with Jo and Christine. He had McKenna in his arms who
was watching him with his big blue eyes
"They
told me that they have solved the case of Parker!"
"Yes
it is! Mancini wanted to say goodbye before going back to Italy! You can find
him in your office!" Jo told him before taking leave.
Mac looked
at Christine and Faith and exclaimed "She looks like me more and more
every day!" then he looked at McKenna "While he's very much like
you!"
"He
has something that reminds me my mother! Faith on the other hand doesn’t look
like yours!"
"You
didn’t know my father!" Mac smiled "Do you want to call your father and
tell him to come to our house for dinner tonight? I know the look he had! He
needs someone close to him!"
"Yes
Mac, he would like it!" Christine said catching sight of the door of Mac’s
office and the Commissioner Mancini "Do you want to give me the
baby?"
"No!
Come in too! Number three fell asleep and I feel sorry to wake him! "
Christine
shook her head "I remind you that your own identity card it says Mac
Llewellyn Taylor! Only for the Church you're McKenna Llewellyn Taylor Jr.”
"The
fact remains, anyway, that he is the third McKenna!" Mac smiled entering his
office
"Good
evening! You missed the whole action Lieutenant!" the Commissioner greeted
him "For me it’s time to go back! I was fine here!"
"I
hope we will still have the opportunity to work together! Why not in Italy?"
"Don’t
fly too much with fancy Lieutenant! Unfortunately, it’s easier for me to come
back here in the future!" he turned to Christine "I learned of the
event only a few minutes ago! My condolences!"
"Thank
you!"
"When
my father passed away last year, it has been the worst period I've had to deal
with, luckily I had the smallest of my three children to look after!" he
smiled at the couple "See you next time then!" and he left the room.
Mac sat at
his desk with his son in his arms and beside him sat Christine
"I
will settle here for a moment and then we'll go!"
"Take
your time!" Christine smiled and then turn his attention to the phone
ringing "Speak of the devil!"
Mac lifted
the receiver
"Taylor!"
he listened and his eyes turned serious "How? Sure! I see! I will do my
best to be there as soon as possible! I'll take the first flight to Chicago
tomorrow morning!" he hung up the phone and stared at the baby in his arms
for a while, noting that it was still asleep quiet.
Christine
looked at him waiting for him to speak "Mac?"
"My
mother is at the hospital! She had a respiratory attack and was told that for
now is conscious and stable, but they said that the conditions are severe and...
"
"Go to
her! Stay close to her! I’ll take care of the children!"
"There's
also the funeral of your mother and..."
Christine
put her index finger on his lips "I'll think about it! Do not worry if you
cannot be present! The others will understand!"
"Thank
you!"
That night,
New York had suddenly lost all its colors and its lights. Even the weather seemed
to want to make more gloomy that evening with a drizzling rain that was falling
slowly in the streets and along the windows of skyscrapers.

This is the end of season 9
As police officers in this big, complicated city we see so much bad.
So many souls filled with hatred and violence and it's our job to look for them, chase after them and confront them.
Over time, they can become all we see. As with all evil, some good will always come from it.
It can bring us together with some of the most dedicated,honorable,kind-hearted people we could ever hope to meet. It can fill hearts with a love so strong that it will endure forever and create unbreakable friendships that will last even in the face of life's most difficult challenges.
Sometimes, the good comes when we most need it and least expect it.
If we are lucky enough to notice it, set our eyes upon it and appreciate it, it can almost make us forget all of the bad.
Today is life. The only life you're sure of. Make the most of today. Words of wisdom. A slice of goodness passed on by an innocent soul whose life was cut short by an errant bullet.
These are words that will always stay with me, words that are about to change the course of my life forever.

Thank you CSI NY for the good time passed together!
Don't worry! I'm continuing to post the Season 10 here!
It was only fair to provide an official farewell
to what CBS has done up to now!

6 Degrees of separation (a true story also in our lives)
There's a theory elaborated in 1929
that says that everyone is connected to the other pople
by a network of common acquaintances.
(not more then 5)
We can say that Gary Sinise and Brad Pitt have "One Degree of Separation"
because they have worked both with
Claire Forlani
Based on this Theory tehre also the "Bacon Number"
You can do it by searching on the net!
Here you an example
You can change the actors and do this game.
I decided to speak about this Theory because I had tostudy it last year.
I found it interesting because it hasan application in our reality!
granny
That woman that believes in you.
That one who says to you if you are fat or skinny
and if you are skinny she invites you to her place for a meal.
She is the only woman that you can say cooks better then
your own mother and oncles or aunts!
And you still don't know how is this possible!
(there are some dishes you will never see during the preparation
because she wakes up early to cook it!)
But your souspects are focused around some ingredients
expecially when she prepears meatballs!
(butter and Parmigiano Reggiano/Padano everywhere!)
You will never know how she prepears
that special meat sauce and bechamel for lasagne!
I definitly love when she starts to speak in Brianza Dialect
because it's like to hear another lenguage!
Even some words are unknown and you ask to explain the meaning!
Yeah! It's offial! I love my granny!
Write something here about your special granny!

1.10 it means -20 Hours to the ending of CSI NY in Italy
Ok, I don't have to cry!
Because between the plot of the Epidose Finale
and the fact that it is the last episode of the series
is painful and terrifying!
Someone who is able to persuade CBS to do a Season 10?
The fact that I finished to write it on Jan 2 as the real season finale
doesn't make me more happy!
I won't never see it on TV!
Who would care about the story of a 20 years Italian girl?
This blog is the only card I can play!
I hope that someone notice it!
My project is to show that CSI NY fans are all over the world and they're a lot!
But without helps and views it will be stay here and it will became trush!
I don't know what to write down now!
I hope you will appreciate this blog and the Season 10 that I'm sharing!
For me it's late and it's better to take some rest!
Unfurtunatly exams at university are really close!
I was studying until few minutes ago!
I'm going to become crazy with "Media's Economy"
(Yeah I study Communication, History of Cinema and tv, Lenguage of cinema, literature and media, Advertising, Psycology of Communication and there's also Economy!)
Good night, Good morning or Good Afternoon
to the all CSI NY fans
and to the rest of the world who has seen this post!

Sad news in Italy for tv series

Hankies ready because the schedule proposed: a double-farewell. And if the one after three seasons of The Killing is a painful but bearable detachment, it does more impression the leave-taking after nine vintages of CSI-New York (Italia 1 at 21.10), now historic spin-off of CSI- Crime Scene Investigation: it will start with "Blood Actually", in wich a series of mourdes ravage Valentine's Day, and it will end with "Today is Life" where Mac (Gary Sinse) and his team are struggling in a fight against time to avoid a race riot after a policeman shot a black man unarmed. An episode finale at the hight of the value of the series, that deserves 8.2 out of 10 on IMDb and a our staunch 8.5...
