CSI NY Return 2015

I'll try to do a comment by quotes.

When the writer reports the opinion of Gary Sinise something sound strange: 

"“I don't want to see old Detective Mac Taylor,” he told a journalist (Sinise turned 58 in March). “Everyone’s going to have different vision of what the character is like, so to have that materialize is going to disappoint most people,” he added."

Everyone knows that the character of Mac Taylor changed after he was shot in the back in season 8 finale!

Why to be scared of what will happen now?

Maybe because Mac has proposed to Christine and Sinise himself thinks that it would be different?

About a proposal, I thought that it would happened long time ago!

So, no reason to be scare because Mac will still be always Mac! Of course 10 years older!  

"Still hoping for a CSI: NY movie?"

This paragraph should be called: "Do you want to destroy the reputation of a tv series?"

All those interviewed disagree! 

Natalie Martinez's comment is the best of all! She sais: 

"“I think it's a bit of a case of ‘the book is better than the movie’.” "

You got it! 

Otherwise, on which topic of CSI: NY, CBS will pretend to shoot a movie?

Mac's family life? Flack and Jime love affairs? Jo and her kids? The new member of Messer family?  

What about the plot? A classical plot of an episode with one big case or two minor cases? 

It would not make justice to a tv series ared for NINE years!

"What about a CSI: NY reboot?"

If the article hasn't driven you out mind til now, this is the right time to be pissed off!

CSI: NY is born with determinated characters! It's unfair to put all them apart and to start with a new crew! Who do you pretend to take the placed that Gary Sinise had for nearly a decade?

People become attached to their favourite characters! At least you cannot change the whole bunch of actors!
Lots of series had ended for this reason and they have spoken badly even on the web!

It is a certain death sentence!

To sum up!

If CBS wants to do something cool has only to shoot a last season planned to be an ending! A great way to say good bye in a definitive way to the show!

"Be it in the form of a CSI: NY reunion, a CSI: NY movie, or a CSI: NY reboot, if you had to start filming today, who would you cast in what role?"
