Thanksgiving day!

"CSI New York: it's only shit!" "No it's not!" The thoughts of an Italian Blogger vs Mine

http://leuovadelnonno.wordpress.com/2010/01/30/csi-new-york/

I'm not going to translate it, so use Google Translate to do it on your own!
I can say that I agree on something...
The first two seasons looked boring it's true, but only because there wasn't a real plot behind! There were only the cases! In season 3 CBS has changed something!
The Blogger says that none cares about the story! That's not true! I care about it and I think also other people!
It's tre as well that some adaptations of dubbing are absolutly stupid: Italy is a country of Conservatives I think all arownd the world it's known!
That Stella looks like a strange character it's not wrong at all (expecially her relationship with Mac: best friend, then when Peyton brekes up with Mac she seems to have a strange face, like as she sais "Now I have my chanse!") and I have to admit that at the biginning she made me think "Why they've created so a meaningless character?" When I started to understand something about her they knocked her out! C'est la vie!
The most wrong thing is that Lindsay is seen as an good-for-nothing character, her only function is being the girlfriend the cool-bad guy (the only function of Danny according to the Italian Blogger, wich is not true)
Hawkes's seen as a killer and Mac has the eyes of an alien!
Now tenderhearted means killer and handsome alien!
110 and praise! Do you want even the academic kiss?

What I think about CSI New York is:

1) Mac Taylor at the biginning doesn't look nice, but disagreeable. The reason why? Series are made to let you know the characters episode by episode...
NB: If the character has the particularity to remember his late wife for THE MOST PART of episodes doesn't mean that is not well typifed!
If Mac have been a stupid character I would called him Gary Stu (or Marty Stu as you prefer)

2) New York is a wonderful city: at the beggining it would have been CSI: Chicago! Can you imagine the team as it has been for 9 season in Chicago?! Please! Don't joke!

3) Ok, I have to admit that some episodes are really stupid, not for the cases that CSI team has to solve, (exept for the Valentine episode of Season 9 and I'd like to see how they have traslated it here in Italy for start laughing) but for the attitude of main characters  in their private life ex. Mac and Christine fighs for the aphasia (he calls her and he wants to leave her a message but he always delate it!) and before Christine the "lovely" scenes with Peyton (who has been called twice Clair in some situation that weren't er... You undertood!)
The fact is that when you write something, I know it by myself, you can't look always at the top because you risk to become boring and that the reader or viewer, in this case, advances (guessing 9 times out of 10) what happens!
It is a defensive strategy!

In conclusion CSI New York is not perfect (perfection doesen't exist). We can say that it is amother way to exorcise death!
I don't know what you do when you watch an episode but, sometimes, I start laughing! A bitter laugh that makes me understand a lot of things: life is short, life is a value and you're life isn't the only one to be complicated because, at least, you are none even you are a most famous actor or what you want!
How many movie stars, patriots, scientists, charismatic leaders are passed by?
Death is the same for everyone that is one of the biggest lessons of CSI NY!

I envite you all to write what do you think about it!
Is CSI New York only a stupid tv series or not?
Opinion can be different!

Physics of crime films Nice Explanation Mac! LAUGH WITH ME!

The physics of crime movies is the branch of physics that studies paranormal phenomena seemingly impossible in reality and which occur only the police corps from fictions or crime films.

UNIVERSAL LAWS

SWAT'S LAW
SWAT teams are theoretically created to replace the common policemen in high-risk operations, but in all the movies SWAT police officers equipped with helmets, suits, bulletproof vests, high beam grenades, and machine guns are always preceded by detectives protagonists of the films, without vest and with only a poor gun. The only plausible explanation for this absurd phenomenon is due to the great courage of the protagonists.

CHASE'S LAW
The phenomenal car chases between policemen and criminals through highways, expressways, national roads, provincial, municipal, secondary roads small roads and go-karts tracks are obviously part of the job for which one he enlisted in the police force. Aside from the fact that chases from movies never occur. On the rare occasions when these events occur they only last for a few kilometers and the cars streaming down a bit. Contrary to what appears in the movies, ie gigantic accidents, explosions, cars which fly through the air, destroyed cars that never stops, pursuits that last for hours, and shooting from the windows. The phenomenon is probably explained by the fact that these scenes are shot in the corners of the Earth with a specific gravity in the presence of combustible gases and / or anti-personnel mines, and cars built with titanium alloy.

SHOOTING'S LAW
The wonderful shootings that continue for about ten minutes and shippers have the ability to contain a billion cartridges are as real as Valeria Marini boobs, given that shippers roomiest have a capacity of about 30 shots, and from this it follows that the shootings the TV series is pure idiocy to 99.99%. This is because in crime films, they use special guns on which the Hogwarts students practice with extensive unrecognizable enchantment.

PHISICS OF CRIME MOVES: EXCEPTIONAL CASES

In one of the episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation took place a shootout between police and a group of Mexican criminals, one of the policemen fired and, apparently, the shot seemed to go in circles. But a few seconds later, during the chase one of these criminals pointed a gun at one of the police officers concerned: the gun jammed and the agent nailed the criminal with three shots. Why the gun had jammed? Grissom's response was that, obviously, the first shot fired by the policeman had previously hit the revolver cylinder of the criminal, thus blocking the rotation of the drum.
Chances of that happening in real life: zerothousand%

In another episode of CSI (though this time NY!), a gang of robbers entered a bank prior to the opening and killed the director firing two shots into the same hole. What was the explanation of Mac Taylor? Obviously the thieves had used a weapon that allowed to have no recoil, allowing them to fire two bullets in the same spot.
Chances of that happening in real life: - (zerothousand)%

Here we growing!
